Now Almaty is a thriving metropolis, reminiscent once more of its strategic position on the old Silk Road. With the lifting of the shroud of communism a country of rare and dramatic beauty has been revealed.
Itinerary
Arrive in Almaty. Clear Immigration and Customs.
Transfer from airport to (TBA).
Check-in at the hotel
Day is at leisure. Relax at SPA ( Subject to hotel choice)
Transfers to Restaurant “Namaste” for Dinner from 2030-2230 Hrs.
Overnight stay at Hotel.
The Medeu or Medeo is an outdoor speed skating and bandy rink. It is located in a mountain valley on the south-eastern outskirts of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Medeu sits 1,691 metres above sea level, making it the highest skating rink in the world. Please note during July/August the place has no snow/ice & looks very green & beautiful.

We depart for high-mountainous complex “Medeo” & base “Chimbulak”.
Arrive at first level of chimbulak at 1130 Hrs. The skiing resort Chimbulak is located in pictorial gorge of the Zailiysky Alatau Mountains on the height of 2200 m above sea level. It’s famous by soft climate, big amount of sun days, stable snow covering from November up to May and splendid sights of mountainous peaks and ranges.
Depart for Lunch.
We embark on a panoramic tour of Almaty, including The Abai Opera and Ballet Theatre, Abai square, The President Residence .
Visit the Central State Museum of History. Central State Museum has the largest collection of exhibits in Kazakhstan. The distinctive building is topped by nine blue domes and inside, the main marble-floored hall is dominated by a huge map of Kazakhstan. The museum has large galleries on either side of the main hall and the exhibits are excellently laid out. Everything is covered, from Kazakhstan's paleontological history to the wars and earthquakes that have shaped the country's recent history.
Visit Republic Square. Republic Square - Large square in southern Almaty. It has a pillar with a Golden Man statue. At the base there's a palm print from the President Nazarbayev. If you put your hand there they say your wish will come true...
Visit the Under Ground Mall located below The Republic square. The place have sovenier shops located inside.
Dinner transfers to Indian Restaurant “TANDOOR”

Zenkov Cathedral. Svyato-Voznesenski Orthodox Cathedral, designed by a local architect A.Zenkov, was built in 1904. It is one of the eight most unique wooden buildings in the world. Its wall paintings, screens and interior decorations strike one’s imagination with its beauty and splendor. Of special interest is the fact that it survived the 1911 earthquake with a magnitude of 10 on Richter scale. Almaty is a city with plenty of trees and parks, and this one – the second-largest in the city – is a must-see for visitors since it contains the fantastic, brightly coloured Cathedral of the Holy Ascension. The park is dedicated to the soldiers under the command of division officer Panfilov – who died defending Moscow against the Germans in 1941. Traditionally, newly wed couples come to lay flowers by the eternal flame that burns in front of the memorial.
We shall visit the Zaloniy bazar where our people can buy Dry fruits and RAKHAT Chocolate factory shop where good chocolates are available at very cheap prices.

Sightseeing at KOK-TOBE/ OR DOLPHIN SHOW ( Any one).
The hill has the mast stands on it. It is the highest point of the city of Almaty at 1100 meters and the mast itself is 350 meters tall. The viewpoint from Kok-tobe is well worth a visit with panoramic views of the city in all directions. A cable car ride is a really good way to the top of Kok-tobe Hill and sees the view of surrounding mountains, the start of which is located close to the Hotel Kazakhstan. The cable car goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and its interesting to see the old fruit growing gardens.
Return to Hotel.

We shall depart. for Big Almaty lake. Arrive a lake at 1145 Hrs. and enjoy scenic beauty. Big Almaty Lake – one of the most beautiful lakes of the Northern Tien Shan is located among mountains covered by coniferous forest at an altitude of 2511 m and situated on the territory of the National park Ile-Alatausky. Almaty city is totally supplied by water from this lake. This lake is in cavity and like shining mirror, surrounded by wonder mountains. Three main peaks tower above the lake -Sovetov (4,317 m) to the southeast, Ozerny (4,110 m) to the south, and the forested slopes of Tourist (3,954 m) to the southwest.
Lunch at Indian restaurant.
Visit Mega Center Mall for last minute shopping.
Arrive back to the hotel.
Gala Dinner transfers to Banquet Hall.
Return to hotel & Overnight at the hotel.
